Brian Apprille is fantastically funny and brings likability and ingenuity to every part of his comedy act. We were privileged to laugh A LOT with Brian in our first ever comedy show fundraiser. Having never tried this before, we were blown away by the success of utilizing comedy as a way to actively help our community and world around us. Brian engaged the crowd quickly and kept everyone laughing to the very end of his final sentence. It was absolutely the 'funnest and funniest' fundraiser we have ever done, and Brian was 100% the right fit in making it a success!
We had the privilege of meeting Brian Apprille in early 2015. Through our interactions it became clear what an amazingly talented individual he was. From our conversations Mr. Apprille left an impression on not only myself but also my staff. We asked Brian to perform for our Annual RISE Physical Therapy Anniversary Staff Party and the experience was beyond compare. He performed a set of jokes in which he completely commanded the respect and energy of the crowd. Afterwards he was kind enough to stay and mingle with the mix of staff and patients and let his personality shine. We still have staff members and patients that attended that event reference his jokes and laugh when we reminisce on the experience. I was so thankful to be able to provide that for my staff but I am even more thankful for the opportunity to have seen Brian perform numerous times following the event. Our patients, staff, friends, and family all frequently look for Brian's next show and show up to support him. I am personally looking forward to our next company event so that we can bring Brian back and listen to him perform once again.
I cannot recommend Brian enough for any event. Whether it is a large, formal event or a smaller, more casual gathering, Brian has the ability to draw the crowd in and make them part of his experience. He s a joy to work with but an even bigger joy to watch.
We had Brian Apprille headline a comedy show we put on recently. His act was polished and professional while still retaining that raw "first-time-I've-ever-told-this-joke" feel to it. Brian brings a fresh yet conventional stand-up act with bits of unconventional mayhem thrown in for good measure. Days later, I heard people refer back to some of his hilarious observations that ring so true in every day life. Brian knows how to have fun on stage as well as how to make sure that everyone else in the room is right there having fun with him. He has skillfully crafted his set of jokes, delightfully amusing life commentary, and array of character voices to deliver laughs and deliver them big.
Brian has been a complete asset to our ministry. He uses stand-up comedy as a ministry to make people laugh and bring them joy. We have used his services on four different occasions. Every show that he has been at people laughed hysterically. He is really great with impressions especially the Simpsons. He is great for outreach, fundraising, and fellowship events because he can draw in a crowd and has resources for other clean comic acts as well. We will continue to use him for our events and I would encourage you to use him as well.
Simply put, Brian is hilarious. Easy to work alongside, charming, and attentive, Brian's professionalism allows you to fall completely under his spell of laughter.
It was a great night for comedy at the Addison Improv. Brian Apprille was brilliantly entertaining. East coast roots but coast-to-coast funny. You could actually see the waves of belly laughter wash across the audience as he launched non-stop comedy rockets in a spectacular exhibition of high energy comedy. Brian delivered a "Comedy Hall-of-Fame" hair routine that should go into the comedy history books. He actually topped it with some of the most amazing cartoon and movie impressions we have ever seen on stage. Homer Simpson, Darth Vader, Kermit, Hank Hill and.... then it was Yoda with a thumb/ear that had the audience in uncontrollable spasms. I just want to see Brian Apprille again. Bring your friends, bring your family Brian will not disappoint. I'll be there any time he's in town.
